First of all, yes, I used the search function, all I got were topics about mods.

Anyway, just wanted to know if it was worth it to pump points into Charisma at all? Or should I focus on STR/AGI? I only need CHA for leadership/prisoner management, and could always use more troops, but that's what renown is for, right?

If you can manage to hold a large party together without the morale and troop salary bonus (paying lower wages) then go for it.

depends what kind of a character you want.. you need charisma to have a large party but cha takes away from your combat points, the party size is what makes cha good

I like charisma because I need it for high leadership. It's not about the party size limit for me though, you can get pretty big armies without high leadership if you can get high renown. It's about the party morale to me, I like to keep that as high as possible. And ofcourse it's handy to make the wages of the soldiers lower.

Okay, that all makes sense. Renown doesn't help moral or party wages (which is pretty big for me, 1400 denars/week isn't easy to come by). Thanks everyone

I never had trouble with the wages, but that's cause I don't get any partymembers before lvl 30. That's my tactic with all characters.
