Characters are now too dark

I adressed the brightness issue of the armory/inventory several times in the past weeks.
With patch e1.1.0 , the opposite problem arised: the characters are now too dark. Example:

Comparison with the previous versions:

Before beta patch b0.9.0:
armory1.jpg
After beta patch b0.9.0:
armory2.jpg
Since patch e1.1.0:
armory.jpg

While it's way better than what we had after patch b0.9.0, it's too dark. I wish they just revert it to the pre-b0.9.0 settings, which were just perfect. I tried to tweak the atmosphere.xml but it's too tricky.
 
It's all your fault @Al_Mansur :lol:. Taleworlds goes overboard or comes up short. :iamamoron:
Now kidding aside, the ideal is before b0.9.0
You know what, I really felt guilty when I first saw it :lol:

Unfortunately this brings back the post-b0.9.0 - pre-e1.1.0 washed out and too bright settings, which are the worst by far (I don't understand how one can regret them).

You are not wrong, but on another hand it's one very easy to fix.
Now if these issues bother me so much, it's because they stopped me in a little redesign suggestion project I was completing:

It is slightly better but still lacks the beauty and depth of pre-b0.9.0.

It looked more serious before.
 
why did they even change it in first place when it was fine... tbh this swapping of light gets ridicoulus at this point
