Changing banners from horizontal to vertical layouts?

Is it possible to change whether a banner is displayed vertically or horizontally on the campaign map?

I'm playing as Swadia and I really like the banner that resembles the kings banner but I don't like how it is displayed horizontally. Its the red banner with the black lion, its the very first options when you go to pick your banner. I have searched everywhere but only found one reference to a brf file.

Copy map_flag_d01 in map_flags_c with OpenBRF to a new mesh (map_flag_lion or something unique), and change its Material to banner_a instead of banner_d. Then change the reference for map_flag_01 to map_flag_lion in module_map_icons. Or change that reference to map_flag_kingdom_f, which already exist.

Thanks for the response, I haven't modded this game much other then editing the menu.txt so the cows follow you. I will give it a go
