chances of getting archers in battle

is thyir a way to incrise the chances of getting archers in battle?

The troops spawn in order of where they are on the "party" menu. Move units up/down to decide who spawns first.

Try to face a Jatu army, good luck with that...

First line of cavalry will hit it and you might lose a few men, but after that almost all Jatu are locked into a line of halted horses and other cavalry.  Hell, with a 180 man army of pure Ravenstern Rangers I have blocked and defeated a 300ish army of Jatu with just my own character (heavily armored) blocking at the front. Battlesizer 350. I have also faced slightly smaller armies of Jatu with the same strategy only with my character leading the Jatu in circles while shooting at them. It always helps to have a small line of infantry/cavalry in case a few get past/stray.

Well if you make em come for you and you run around in circle then your archers can shoot'em freely... But I don't do that -,- . Also if you block em with mounted rangers... they will get insta killed but dunno. It may work ,Never tried that

Meh doubt it'd work on occasion that the jatu's are one's with bows and not the lance ones...

Archers do seem to be the "I win" button... my infantry always die, and I rarely can keep many top-tier, or even mid-tier since I lose so many every battle. I've got like, 40 Armored Archers though... only really lose any to cavalry charges.

Still, seems crossbows do a lot better then bows...

Ever used Silvermists?  Love them fellas.  Crossbows take awhile to reload, and can get nailed by lances or other archers, interrupting the reload.  Ravenstern Rangers and Silvermists put so many arrows out, sure they run out in 3 minutes, but they kill everything in that 3 minutes.
