Chamber Blocking Couched Lance

Got what I asked for. Congrats, Mad Dawg & co. I believe ya.

It definitely does sound like an oversight, though. No other chambers damage your shield since the last patch, and the fact that it requires a shield is quite odd. :???: If I remember right, way back in the original Mount&Blade you could manually block couches by blocking down. The game considered them thrusts. If it still considers them thrusts, that's probably why you can chamber them with overheads and thrusts.

This has been known by the fools from Fedner for many months & is possibly the secret behind our great success as a clan.

Video evidence or it never happened.

Dis is true.

Ok... i seen the vid and all.  I saw you chambering with the up swing.  How bout when you do it with a thrust?  Does it chamber the lance as you pull the sword back or as you thrust your sword forward?  And, how does chambering with your fist work?  If I was to chamber a thrusting attack from a spear for instance, with my fist... would the upwards motion of my punch chamber it?

Am I making any sense

Haha, sorry bro.  We've known this since last July.

Nope and your questions show you really don't seem to understand how chambering-blocking in general works.

Well, I do in a sense understand how it works for the most part.  The thrusting of your own weapon and the use of fists are the only part that gets me a bit confused.

I like to pretend I am punching their weapon when I chamber, because my pull back gets it like a Bruce Lee backhand, so fast.

I think chambering a lance without a weapon  is odd.

I think chambering axes without a weapon is a bit more odd, but whatever.

No se?

Really the response was in jest and just bringing to light that we "knew" this was possible despite all of the flack we caught for it last year.

He responded generally so I assumed he meant chambering couches in general.  As you quoted, the "shield law" was discovered that night as every previous attempt to replicate it was done generally with a H-Bastard.  So if he was referring to the fact chambering couches requires a shield to actually work, he should have quoted that.

Comprende?

This is obv worth measuring dicks over.

I'll be on my throne over there.
Everyone knows my **** is without question near nonexistant compared to everyone else on the forums so I never engage in fights I'm bound to lose.  However "proving" what we already knew does hold some value of satisfaction.
