Has anyone had any success running this game in linux using cedega ?
and if not does anyone know if there is any contact between transgaming and the makers of themida (themida should be the only possible problem)

I wonder how hard it would be for Armagan to make a version with some more linux friendly copy protection thingie. It is rather annoying to have to boot every time you wish to play. And no, I don't have cedega.

i've looked around abit. starforce doesn't work with cedega and the starforce guys doesn't seem to have any intention of helping transgaming with it.
the not working part is very likely to be true for themida aswell (both are driver based). (if oreans is willing to help transgaming is another question though)

the possible solutions to make it work with cedega is probably only to either remove copy protection completely, or switch to a non driver based system (those are alot less secure though). or to make a native linux version that runs without cedega, (would require rewriting big parts of the engine for opengl+sdl or similar).

i don't think armagan will remove copyprotection or switch to a less secure system (since those options probably would be bad for buisniess). and making a port of the game is too much work for a small team (especially if you consider the market size)
