Am I doing something wrong?  but every time i want to fire a pistol i dont see the aiming cursor, and it only appears AFTER i fire, which is obviously too late for aiming...

are you looking behind yourself. I noticed that the cursor doesn't when you do that, or for a few seconds after you reload

You have a limited arc of fire on horseback (depending on weapon type), if you turn too far outside that arc, the reticule will fade... this is most noticeable if you try to fire a weapon to the "wrong" side, i.e. across your body from the way that it's held.

oh, i just figured out what was causing it... i didnt held the button long enough to get the aiming reticule, so my pistol fired immediately... once i held the button, it allowed me to aim the pistol, and it only fired when i released the button... i just wish tutorial mentioned this... its quite frustrating to find this on your own...

If you return to back, the target cursor disappears...  I know its very badly... But you can't do anything....
