can you tell me please how the cattle system work.what i mean.i have a mision to transport 7 cattle.i steal the cattle but i have 3 options .1 to slaughter them,2 to make them stop and 3 to make them move but the problem is  that i canot make them follow.how i can transport them to the lord

^^^ Yup. Also, use the pause (spacebar) to your advantage. It makes it a lot easier to periodically press pause to figure out where the cows are going to move and where you need to be to get them to your lord.

Gah, herding cows ... gotta be the most annoying of quests.  My poor villagers suffer more because I usually refuse to go on bovine escort duty.  Not to mention its annoying to pay 300 denars for a cow in one village, and have a village next door want 3000 denars for theirs.

This is one quest I'd like to see eliminated from the game.

Ah, a nice little edit I missed--thanks for posting that.

I had no trouble herding the cattle like it was suppose to be done (I guess only me and the developers of the game are the only ones to have ever herded cows.... or seen them...), but there are some tweaks, like the one posted here:

it should be more easy to tell them follow

that allow you to make the cattle follow you.

The hint about cattle herding is to have a fast party. You actually need a party that are faster then the cattle to be able to herd it.. You cant herd sheep with turtles..

I don't really have a problem with herding cattle as it is. Although I don't see why the devs just put the cattle temporarily into the player's party when traveling.

Well.... Herding cattle is not easy... Think about the quest where you have to herd 100++ cattle.. thats not easy for any man to do in real life.. I think its nice how its a bit hard to herd cattle in M&B, its rather realistic..

If you were to be able to add them to your party there should be a herding skill. Herding is not easy, but the main factor in real life is speed, and the main factor in M&B is speed, so I think its rather well implemented.
