Catastrophic Taleworlds issue going on right now.

Every player that joins is being given a random user ID, which means new banks are opening for each player when they join, and admins can;t log in to admin.  I'm assuming this is why Nexus is down right now, because it is better to shut down for a night than have a server of chaos.  :~(  The EU owner is not on so there isno way to just shut down or PW the server til it is fixed. 

Avalon_EU has erupted into a **** storm haha.

well I haven't been given CP access for EU server yet so there is nothing anyone can do besides let our EU server be the home of the biggest 60 player random fest I have ever seen in all my time playing PW.

WHAT is even going on? why is it affecting PW only? wtf does a taleworlds problem have to do with giving out random ID's to a MODDED game, dedicated PW box's?

It is only effecting mods which rely on USER ID SPECIFIC mySQL databases, like nordinvasion and cRPG are probably ****ed right now too.

I forgot how awesome and ruthless pw was without safe zones and banks. Just leave the server on and erase all bank data when it's fixed

Banks are tied to a user's unique ID also known as their serial key, taleworlds right now is giving out randoming uder IDs/keys when a user joins, meaning it is just creating a new blank bank everytime because there is no bank attached.

On secure servers, name servers are used to restrict admin access to a players unique ID / Serial key.  Meaning admins cannot log in as admin because their user ID is at random.

Just shut down your "name server" totally, or remove the configuration lines from strings.txt: which will mean that anyone with the admin password can use any tool (and also it will avoid corrupting your database more with loads of invalid ids).

when I disconnect from the name server the server will not launch, gives me error.  It is because of our codes being built off of the name server.

Where is it catastrophic? I've spent the whole morning playing the mod in multiplayer and enjoyed it a lot.
