In Progress Cataphracts do not use shields during attacking sieges

Summary: Cataphracts do not use shields in formation during sieges while other members of their groups do. Instead they are walking with two-handed lance. It relates both to regular and elite cataphracts.
How to Reproduce: start any siege battle and observe attacking groups with cataphracts in it
Have you used cheats and if so which: no
Scene Name (if related): Akkalat (but it happens on any other siege map)

Still happening in version 1.8. How is no one else talking about this? Every unit behind my battering ram has their shields on their back. Taking command of the unit and placing in shield wall doesn't work. The patch they released the ladder fix was probably the most stable patch. Honestly everytime I quit this game it's because the new patch is more broken than the last.
