Seriously though, that's just one government and the last twenty years Norway has been conservative in its spending of oil money.

And you guys still lost like half of all that **** that was placed in the funds. And the roads in northern Norway are still notoriously poor, to the point where it's easier to just drive on the Finnish side of the border most of the way. That money isn't doing anybody any good if it's just sitting around, being eaten up by inflation. Pump some of that into the infrastructure so I can have a more enjoyable trip to Norway next time.

I was given to understand that the norwegian oil fund is supposed to grow through various investments in ruining other countries' natural beauty so it should turn into more money. I think.
