Castles and such joining your battle.

I think i read this somewhere but I couldn't find it so  I am bring it up again.  I just loaded SoD again this time with the map thing.. However, now when i get in fights even if im right next to a lord or castle no one joins in on my fight.  Anyone got a fix for this? Thanks.

Looks like you are the only one that has this problem. Re-install the game?

I just installed it about an hour ago.. Also,, Im getting farmers now when i go to villages.. I KNOW that has come up before... All this just to get that map..

Some fixes with V4 don't work with V4+.

I started a new game and the peasant problem goes away.  Its actually pretty good fix in V4+.

In V4+ you get to upgrade to watchmen until you have a kingdom, once you have a castle/town villages then give peasants.

This makes a lot of sense as you can't use peasants until you have a barracks to train them. Unfortunately this doesn't work with old V4 saves, and you need a troop editor to add 'peasant*' to the farmer.

Yeah, I just did the troop editor thing, it wasn't as hard as I though it would be.  I really feel like I have downgraded by getting the download that has the map with it.  They still don't listen to me and then there is added problems.

Maybe start over, I LOVE the map.  The map makes your lords semi useful instead of ADD addled children.

Yeah, I started over to see what it did and it fixed everything.. I loaded my character though.. There was no way I was starting completely from scratch.  Thanks for the help everyone.
