I took over a castle this morning, and after i won there are 2 choices, andi choose the one that says ask the king to give this castle to me, or something like that, but after i choose that option, there are no replies. What should i do? that castle belongs to no one right now.
And i am playing on Native V.1.011

wait for a while, then you'll get a message that rewards you w/castle + Village.

or...it could go to someone else, which you'd then be payed for.

your best not asking for the castle, ask for no rewards, after taking about 3 castle's, he should give you one, think someone said that having good relations with the king is also a plus, not sure on that though

It takes the king two days to make a decision.

It can take well over or under that. The most I've had to wait, i believe, was 4 days.

Yes, it does, but it's very small compared to other factors. Themagelord's tweaks can change the factor amounts.

Actually, the monetary reward is really rubbish, it's only around 900 denars. Village taxes can make that up pretty quickly, even on very poor prosperity. Good relations with the king, high renown and high luck can help. (literally, luck. To find it out, click on "camp", then "retire from adventuring". There will be a screen stating your luck. There is a "confirm" and a "cancel" option. Choose cancel (obviously if you don't want to retire).

In my experience it always takes exactly two days, to the minute.

Relation with the king has a miniscule effect, to the point where it's simply not worth it to increase the relation without modding the game (see MageLord's tweak thread for the exact formula). Luck has nothing to do with it, the only thing it affects is if (when) your attributes start deteriorating.
