Carts/Wagons instead of a chest.

I've been wondering - How can one put 3 or more plate armors (or better yet - a spear!) in that small chest?

Wouldn't it be a better idea to replace that chest with a pull cart? It would be far more convincing than keeping your loot in a tiny chest that you literally carry around. 
Items slow you down anyway, so why couldn't your soldiers (or your horse?) pull a wagon with them? It would be a good place to store your gold too.

I know carts were suggested before, but people wanted it as a new item that would make your inventory larger, while i want a more cosmetic change.

Sure, chests should stay, but in Zendar or as a prop.

What do you think?

yeah ive always wanted the chest in zendar to move around, but since it didnt, i just made use of the chests in the select cities where i found the strange set. trouble is, suppose you lost a battle, would the enemy have access to this traveling chest of yours too? lord stamar just stole my gauntlets, cuir boulli, and guard helmet yet he refused to return them after i raised my maul to his head

shields, armor, kegs of beer. Maybe a canvas cover with your CoA...

Also we could have pack horses with your items showing on their packs.

I belive this has been discused before but not enough I think.

it would be cool to show your items on the outside and the banner. but unless it isnt hard to code (which i dont think it is) it would be a little work for really nothing. i dont know about u but in battle i dont ever go to my chest.

i use it to get more arrows or put them away sometimes. i still like the idea though. it is cool and would make the battles look cooler.

I don’t access it during battle that much either, but I do use it as a reference point and will ride
close by it to “simulate” grabbing a new lance*.

* I only allow myself up to a maximum of 4 attacks with a lance (2 if they are couched) before
I put it away for the remainder of the battle, unless I go near enough to my inventory chest. *

ya, it could be much more obvious that it's the place where you leave your stuff before battle. Barrels, carts...
I like the idea of changing lances, that would make sense. In TLD we have a faction standard there..

That could be used with the cart as well.

Perhaps there should be carts in general added to the game. I have no doubt that at least
some of the caravans would use wagons and carts. Especially the larger caravans.
And along the same lines the city streets should then have to be widened to accommodate
these wagons and carts...hmm, sounds like a lot of rebuilding...

You know, I have downloaded a low-poly nice cart a while back. Now I just need to attach it to a horse or something. . .Hmm. . .*strokes imaginary goatee*
