Well. I manage to do some gauntles that I wanted to use in my mod.

But I also manage to see that gauntles is in MD3 format. So how do I make my gauntles into MD3 format? and do I need them in MD3 format?

yes actually they have vertex animation not skeletal.
but in order to export all frames you need it to be in smd or md3 or you may export each frame at once in obj.

So what I need to do is to export a current glove in MD3 format? And then?
What I did first to create the gloves what to export leather gloves in .obj, then edit them with Wingd3D. Now I want them to work ingame as regular gloves do.

I think it would be best to export one frame of the glove in obj.  It's the easiest format to work with.  Take note (from the BRF editor) which frames are what with the gloves.  Then just make that many instances and save each as a single obj.  Then append them onto the same object in the BRF editor to get the various frames.  I think HockieBT had a thread recently dealing with VTA stuff.  More detail can be found there.

This is the same as the flags that are seen on the map.  I had to re-create a bunch of them, which means I had to follow this process too.  I think I had to do like 21 flags, each having 10 frames...

WOAW! that much work to just making a single glove?
Well. Atleast now I know it isn't worth it just for such a small part. But I'll try just to learn.

It's not that hard, just takes some time.  You have to make each frame anyway.  No part of modding is just easy.  It all takes work.

changing the main pic is quick and easy. But I guess just using native and change the main pic is no heroic act.

But your right. Modding requires enduring, mental strengh and a gaint cup of coffee. That I learned the hard way:grin:

You have to really stick with it.  Once you got you new glove in game post some pictures, you'll feel better about the time spent.

Well. Right now I am about to finish a beta. But yea. I'll see what you think about it then!

But I got a question. Where do I find this frames?

in the BRF editor, if there are more than 1 frame for an item, you will see a scroll bar at the bottom of the preview window.  In the bottom corners you will see the information you need.

So how do I edit these frames and how do I add them?
