Looks like our dreams are about to come true. It's been what, 14 years since the previous game?

39 hours to go! 15 dorrals for the game!

I donated 30 myself, I totally want Carmageddon II again so spending $5 more for another copy of Reincarnation felt like a good idea. Plus, I'm sure the game deserves it anyway.

They're now open for (ugh)PayPal pledges despite the Kickstarter campaign being over. In case you missed that and still want to get early beta access or just cheaper game, here's the link to the update:

That's pretty impressive, though I don't understand why the framerate is so low in places. Massive nostalgia hit throughout, of course. Oh how I used to hate that yellow monster truck bastard in the old game! And the old police APCs are back too, looking just like I remember and being their usual ******* selves. And I swear the siren sound effect is lifted straight out of the old game too.

Though I do have a slight nitpick, the drill on the yellow monster truck is rotating the wrong way.

15$ level backers also got their hands on the early access version today. I had to use the Humble Bundle site's key resender to make it show in my library though.

In my case the performance is horrible so I'm unable to play. ****ty laptop + incomplete graphics menu = no good. I'll try current release and see if it's any better.

I pledged the double whammy, so I've got a spare copy. I could give it to you if you're interested.

Well, remembering it's about as ready and polished as you'd expect for pre-alpha, I'm quite happy with what I've seeing. It feels like a Carma, looks like a Carma and sounds like a Carma. My desktop computer didn't have performance issues either, though admittedly I did just get a new GPU a few months ago, which no doubt helps with that. I doubt I'll be playing it very much during these early development phases, but the way things now look, I have confidence in the team.

I vote me! Choose me oh god Oh please, I'm piss poor and as a a huge fan of Carma 1 and 2 I'm a very good authority on what it feels like

Of course I'm interested, but you should probably save that for like an actual friend rather than a random ******* on the internet.
