In Progress Caravan doesn't make or lose money

Summary:
How to Reproduce: unkown, happened after caravan was attacked survived and low on troops, the caravan then traveled the maps for hours neither making nor losing any money. After replacing caravan leader it started making and losing money. I have a save file but no idea how to upload it here, the directions on steam for creating a ticket appear to be obsolete.
