Car racing games featuring combat for LAN

Hey guys, I'm looking for a car based combat game to play multiplayer at lans.

I'm kinda looking for something newish, so please don't suggest carmageddon games (they're cool, but these people I play with seem to resist my attempts to make them play older games).

Basically I want something really aggressive on the PC. I've found alot of console titles with this style, but I can't seem to find anything appropriately awesome on pc...
