Capturing the nobleman

How do you guys do it,I cant hit him with a club because he kicks my ass everytime i try to blank him out.Also my knights tend to kill him instead of capturing him.I can take the easy way out by telling my men to go to battle without me but then what sort of a leader would i be.So is there any other method to conk the nobleman out.

Ok, for one thing, the nobleman will usually be the last enemy to spawn.
I tell my troops to hold, so they attack enemies as the enemies get there but don't actively seek enemies.

I then head for the enemy with a jousting lance (blunt damage) and try to find the snooty bugger. Jousting lance does wonders for knocking his sorry butt out.

i had to do it the hard way by clubbing him woot ,was hard getting my sharpshooters and men at arms from owning him,ack my avatar is too big

Yes, the easiest way to capture the noblemen I found, Like Janus said, is to hold ground and go after him yourself. The jousting lance or a millitary hammer works well also...Just make sure you knock him out before one of your sharpshooters decides to put an arrow through his head.

buy a heavy winged mace and its fairly easy since he only has a broadsword, saddle horse which is easy to chase and no armour

If you shoot the horse out from under him, it also makes it easier to either attack him with a blunt-damage weapon or to run him down with your own horse.

Jousting lance is the way to go... Tell your folks to hold position and you go out after him... he wears a different torso armor than the rest and if I recall, doesn't wear a helmet.

Alternatively, you can simply shoot the horse out from under him then it should make it easier with shorter range blunt weapons, e.g. club.

I agree with the majority - Jousting Lance. Line him up and BANG! He's off his horse and unconscious.

Extremely easy mission once you get the hang of it.
