Capturing ennemy lords

I rarely manage to capture the ennemy lord in battle, they escape in at least two fights out of three. Is there any skill which may increase the odds to capture them? I raised my prisonner management skill to 6 (it helps capturing lords in PoP but I don't know wether it's a native or a mod feature) but it doesn't seems to change much.

As far as I'm aware of it's totally random, I know not if one can increase the odds of capturing enemy lords
