He spawns exactly 2 days after you get the mission. If you wait outside the town he starts in he hesitates for 2-3 seconds after spawning. Immediately step into him.
I like this quest and I have suggested that some battles have more of a "this character must survive" or "this guy must die" condition. Fighting the same meeting engagements again and again gets to be monotonous. It is a testament (testimony?) to the vigor and fun of the combat engine that I can fight so many of them.
Very true. Overall there really isn't all that much variety in gameplay, and yet I've still been glued to this game nearly ever waking moment for the past 3 days. This is especially amazing for me because I usually tend to be more of a short burst gamer.
