Capture the nobleman quest error...

I was given the quest on day 15. Being told that he'd leave Praven in 2 days and head to Uxkhal.

On noon of day 16 I was given a message saying that he'd arrived and I'd failed the quest.

What happened to my 2 days?

I had a similar problem. The quest log said that the nobleman would leave a particular city in two day's time, so I headed over and waited somewhere in between the two cities, hanging out at a tavern until the time came when he was due to leave.

Then, as I was about to set out to intercept him, I got a message saying he had already arrived.

I think it's just a typo in the quest log - it should say he will arrive at his destination in two days. The next time I got a quest like this I assumed that he would be leaving immediately and managed to catch up with him.

Ive got that quest now, I headed and camped outside the town he was heading to and he sure enough showed up. I am wondering though if I have to kill or capture him, capturing him might be hard having cavalry who dont hold positions.

I guess you'll just have to tell your men to hold position as soon as the battle begins and race like hell against any of your knights that don't feel like obeying you, so you can knock him out before they get to him.

I find that if you tell them to hold position a couple of times at the beginning this usually prevents anyone from getting a head start on you.
