A Battanian friend of mine gave me a mission to capture a lord for him. As it so happened, that lord was nearby and, due to a battle, had only three healthy men left in his army. Captured him easily.
Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to turn in the quest.
If I speak to the questgiver with the prisoner in my party, I have a "About that task you gave me..." dialogue option, which leads to "I will deal with it right away" and "I am still working on it". Neither of the options advance the quest.
If I barter with the questgiver and hand the prisoner over manually, nothing happens. Quest doesn't update and dialogue remains the same.
If I sell the prisoner to a ransombroker or let him escape, I get a "The prisoner escaped" quest update and have to find him again.
Is this quest bugged, or is there another way to turn it in that I'm missing?
