captive lord

hi everyone!
i'm playing the lords and realms mode.i have a duel mission against a lord.but he has been taken captive.and whoever i ask for his location,they say: he has been captive by his enemies.i have searched all the castles and cities but couldn't find him.how can i find him?last 5 days for the quest.

It's possible that he has been taken captive by bandits and the like, it's also possible that he's still imprisoned by a lord's troop and not in any castle or city prison. When he got captured they tell you the faction that captured him.
Also even if you free him he still has to respawn somewhere, that also takes time...
