Capped daily workshop income at 200

Hehe @Johanno 4k maybe a bit much but i wouldn't go below 2k.

You have to remember you're capped at 4 of those.. so late game 2*4=8k of passive income? Add a huge 3k/day army to that, and you can see being a hassle.

Also, the - takes time to progress - bull**** is just not true. I dare you to play 200 days and tell me how many major factions are left on the map ... Wars go faster than they should .. i kissed Battania goodbye at around 150 days. They need a hotfix AND a post explaining the direction they wanna go

Yet again it's not about workshops making to much, it's about markers have nothing in there, cities are starved all the time, wood is no where to be found. The issue is that the lack of said product make it cost insane amounts. But Smithy and Wood workshops were op, only them. Bu they capped the rest aswell while they were kinda ok at most. Velvet was making 53 income, yay good investement!
Wow .. velvet 53 income now that's sad... I actually think about just stopping the playthrough for 2-3 days till they find a stable fix .. this is not stable and this is not working as inteded

Atm i am waiting until 1 get 1 million and then do the update, shrug. I had 4 workshops of smithy and 6 caravans for 10 hours of gametime. So it's not that insane. Meanwhile i am just sitting in the city farming money, doing nothing since my map was conquered by khuzaits while i didn't even joined a faciton properly. So yeah making money for no existing late game oh yeah!

HAHAHA in your game Khuzaits managed to win? my western empire defeated Vlandia and Sturgia while Northern Empire collapsed .. I'm fighting for my Aserai brothers so Southern Empire doesn't swallow us haha

The very simple was about giving more stocks to cities, adding a wage for workshops, removing the limit of workshops and making it that it's hard to get to 5k per workshops, unless the damand is that high.

Imagine capping caravan incomes to 200 while their wages are around 350. oh yeaa!

I got 2.8 mil right now, because of the wood workshops ._.
Haven't closed/patched my game since I opened it around 12 hours ago

I went negative income with MOST other workshops though, I feel like if they capped the the maximum profits to 200 (keep in mind it should generate you profit or at least give you option to help improve profits if it doesnt) then they should capp the maximum negative income you get also

yeah ahaha northern empire died in 10 days almost. then studia died, then battanians. I am just playing a merchant/tournament destroyer. Making fortunes where i can without wars and such, but the game is almost finished kingdoms fighting wise.

TaleWorlds needs to understand we are willing to start over. That's not an issue.

The issue is doing hasty patch fixes. I'd appreciate an official forum post or something regarding this. ETA for stable economy patch etc

Yeah haha because the market in every city has around 12 max of hardwood. Which is NOTHING for the most common good. No wonder.

Thats ridiculous, even in endgame with ur numbers youd be making 5k a day. A DAY. You travel from city to another and u just made 5k. 4 days and u can buy a stack of 100 elite troops. What they need to do is not limit the amount to 200, but make the percentages drop as you go up in profit. Also not limit the amount of enterprises you can purchase, since that is stupid also.

I've not yet gotten to the point of getting workshops (not even sure how) but seems to me that the whole economy of the game needs pretty hard balancing.
I'm making around 4000-10000 every few days on trading runs (without caravans because I don't trust the companions to do it) with an active 60 men tier 3+ army.
I had pretty much high tier gear within the first 100 after I figured out some good routes.
A single warhorse is below 1000, whilst premium weapons and armour run upwards 10,000-30,000.
Profit margins from trading is usually around 50-200% with decent route.
Selling equipment from looters and such is also much too profitable. A normal 10-20 group nets me around 1-3k worth of loot, excluding the horses I just add to my huge caravan.

In my game battannia has wiped out western empire (with 1 town remaining) and they have started a war against sturgia and vlandia, taking 1 town from sturgia and 1 town from vlandia ._.

@dia151 apologies. Game registers it as "income" but it's indeed profit / bottom line.

after the "expenses" get subtracted in the background (just imagine it happens) you get around 200 profit.

thats reasonable, 200 denars a day can maintain an ok party

So Harlaus the Butterlord was actually Battanian and not Vlandian? My dreams are shattered

Yeah the main issue are workshops ! CAP THEM

The main question is why it's still an issue, a simple simulation would have shown them that. Which means they just throw that thing at us so we can test it and abuse it, that's how you make a community testing. But you don't fix it by breaking it entirelly. Otherwise check what you can do by abusing the trade with weapons which you can go smelt and then buy the irons and leftovers which sell 3 times the cost of those bought swords, so dude before saying anything think twice about it. If you wish to fix something you don't cap it you gradually do it by pourcentage. Same goes for caravans which make you 2k or some workshops that started at -10 got 4k in times. It's dynamic. Now it's not. It's the opposite. And if they want to do it like you said, they need to say in the hotfix.

Oh I get it. Yes. You really are that obtuse. They don't you of all people any explanation, and it's obvious to anyone who can think.

Dude .. this thread was literally the most passive, open-minded discussion ever. God forbid we get to have that without you coming in.

Yes, they owe us a couple of things as Early-Access buyers: They owe us their time, they owe us updates, they owe us at least an explanation regarding the game's direction. They mentioned all 3 of those in their blog posts. It's nothing wrong with owning some1 something. It's just good business practice. They will fix everything in the end , we still love em don't worry ... but that doesn't mean what they did today was smart
