Resolved Can't see any decision notifications

Summary:
I can't see any of the decision notifications that should appear on the right hand side of the screen when on the world map.
How to Reproduce:
This happened in the middle of my playthrough out of the blue as far as I'm concerned, so I don't know how to recreate it.
I've noticed that if I load an old save of the same playthrough, back when the notifications did appear, they appear once again.
Computer Specs:
OS: Windows 10
GPU: nvidia geforce gtx 970
GPU Driver Version: 26.21.14.3200
CPU: intel i5 8600
RAM: 16gb
Motherboard: gigabyte b360m d3h
Storage Device (HDD/SSD): SSD

Hi,
So apparently the notification box in the campaign settings was unticked, and now the notifications do appear.
However I am absolutely certain I did not unticked it myself, so theres that..

On the new update, the box was unticked by default. We've all had to sweat this sudden loss of notices!
