Can't recruit more troops

I go to about day 200 in a older version (not sure what version) and when I got the 4.1 final I didn't want all my progress to be wasted so I put my old save into the new version. It didn't crash so I kept on playing. But I noticed if I went to a villiage and recruited people I only got farmers, and my castle that was supposed to automaticlly get troops... didn't. Also although my religon was the temple of the one (or whatever) I could only make Zen monasterys. I'm going to run out of troops at this rate...

My faction was Vilianese and my religion was The One.
Maybe the game doesn't know that...

The version was most likely not compatible, but I am pretty sure all of the V4.1s were compatible. You might have been using V4. Villages having farmers has happened to me many times, but I never had a problem with my castles.

Never mind fixed the recruiting. There was already a thread, but didn't find it the first time I looked...

Well now I can only build Zerrikan and Buddhist buildings, but my old citys still have Villianese and stuff
Also my castles make marinian mercs instead of nobles and villianese
yeah i think i was using 4.0... oh well
