Can't play anymore until this gets fixed! (recuit faction regulars)

So I've had fun with the game so far but I really can't keep playing until the bug that won't let me recruit regulars from the town commander is fixed. Maybe I doing it wrong but I go into the town center and talk to the commander, I select the troops I want and an amount is taken from me but I don't get the troops I paid for. There is an option that appears once in a while to recruit troops but its random and its under the troops list, honestly it seems like the menu is pretty bugged once you get into the commander menu. I'm past recruiting mercs and have 2 cities now, I just want to field regular Swedish troops like my fellow peers do.

Use the SEARCH function next time.

Read the MANUAL.

It's not a bug, it takes time for them to be trained.

Dude are we even playing the same game or do you not have a clue what your talking about. I can assure you its a feature to be able to recruit regular troops from the city because it works once in a while until the list gets bugged. That's the entire purpose of appointing the different commanders and building the barracks genius.

I can assure you its a feature to be able to recruit regular troops from the city because it works once in a while until the list gets bugged. That's the entire purpose of appointing the different commanders and building the barracks genius. 

I know it's a feature to recruit troops from the city, I'VE DONE IT.

You have to wait until the COMMANDER trains the troops after a period of time you can pick them up.

Use the search function, maybe you will be able to understand one of the other threads that's exactly the same as this.


Edit, Yeah, and now order your troops and give it some time, they have to be trained before you can pick them up.

Terrible user interface, and yes, there's a bug.  When it says X money and X copper, "copper" should be "days."  It's typically 4 days, so come back in that amount of time to pick up your troops.

Did anyone actually test this game (in English) before release? Who would have thought "copper" meant days. Don't even get me started on the ambush in town thing where there are two guy's swinging for you before you can even get a weapon out ^^, no fair . The amount of money I have lost to them is ridiculous.

Publisher (Paradox) had it sitting on their desk since February. I guess they didn't have enough time.
