Resolved Can't load save game since updating to e1.1.0

So I have had no technical issues since the launch of this game but since I updated to the most recent patch e1.1.0 when I go onto Saved Games and press load for my character the button goes dark as if it has been pressed then goes to normal again and does nothing. I thought it was to do with the mods being not up to date but with no mods enabled it does the same thing. Please help I am on day 776 and can't afford to lose this save as I am doing a YouTube playthrough with it too.
