  • I have played with two different characters. First character I married to some western noble woman (Nereida if i recall correctly?) and the second character I married to southern princes Ira. Both player characters and the wife were below 35 years (but first character has now passed 35). The wife has always been below 30.
  • Despite being married for several years, and frequently waiting in the same settlement where she was governor I never had any kids. I also took the wife into my party for long periods of time and tried both waiting in settlements for several weeks and travelled with her for months without ever getting kids.
-Also my wives would teleport to sargot as soon as i would marry them.

I’ve had this issue with my character in 1.5.1 and it’s still an issue in 1.5.2.
Worse, I can use the command console to have my wife conceive, I get the message that my wife is with child but she never gives birth.

Absolutely 110% sure, that I have done everything correctly.
You sure you got all the supplies to set the mood?

No oil and beer isn't supposed to really help it's a joke
Did you wait with spouse for a long time and then re-load a few more time and keep trying?
I'm not crystal clear on the 1.5.2 rules but for me 1 time it took more tries then usual even though it was first babie on that char.
ALso, they said they took away chance for infertility, but is age of woman still reduce the chances %? I don't know but if so you gotta be a chiken hawk for best chances. They really need to add bastards you can adopt after you find them in loot!

I thought TW patched the teleport wife issue? Oh well.
They fixed 1 type of teleportation spouse (randomly after in you party), but the honey moon teleportation around the map still happens. Although I think maybe they tried to fix this too as once in awhile it doesn't happen and they go to my town immediately and can be immediately taken into party. Probably just a happy accident though.

Guys I have the answer:

Time ago with the wife as companion in the Party was enough to trigger the pregnancy.

Right now in the current update, if you have your wife in the Party and you wait in the town, If you look to Clan menú in the first tab, this show that your wife is traveling to the town while you are already waiting here, if you look the keep, your wife isn't in the keep.

When you enter to the town, in the Notablea bar with the "+" button leave your wife "leaving a companion", and wait here, in the clan menú should indicate that your wife is waiting in the town, and she should spawn in the keep, if that is true, save an wait some few days and the game trigger the pregnancy of your wife.

Btw, when I'm in home, I'll upload some Steam screenshots.

Can confirm in 1.5.2 it is not possible for me to have kids, as a male or female main hero character (female main heroes have a real challenge even in patch 1.43 or 1.51, very tough having any more than 1-2 kids because by the time you are able to marry usually you are already closing in on the "geriatric pregnancy" time period - in the real world, medically this is age 35+). I have played multiple games as female and it isn't very fun because breeding is so difficult. I wish Taleworlds would let us (male or female) start at age 20 and not age 30. But yeah, kids cannot be heirs in 1.51 and can't have kids at all in 1.52 so time for a break from this game. Best part of the whole game (playing as a noble family over generations) is broken currently.

this doesn’t explain why using the console command to force your wife to conceive, get the standard pop up message that she is with child but 2 years later she still hasn’t given birth.

when in an army character are no long are listed as travelling to, and instead it stays waiting at, but will no pregnancy. I tried to leave her in a city by starting a party and then disbanding it. Which caused to to stay at a city, however every time I waited at the city she would disappear from the keep and only reappear if I left and then returned.
Still I’ll give you’re method a try as I’ve tried everything else. I just figured that she spawned into my 1.5.1 game unable to have children and is unaffected by the changes in 1.5.2

1.5.2 is a mess, more bugs than anything else.

Forwarding this issue to the QA team for further investigation. Thanks for reporting.

Do you know if you can play your kids as heirs when you die in 1.50? I love the death mechanic, the fact everyone dies. I think it's great, but if you cannot play as your kids, well then it is not great... I am going to go back to my 1.50 game and my oldest kid is 10. Hopefully I can test it and die on my main hero and see if it works in 1.50. I just want one version of the game where I can play as my children.

Did it actually work for you? if you do have some screenshots it would be appreciated , all tho we shouldn't have to go trough so much "tricks" to get the job done , so I really hope this gets fixed soon.

I will update this thread when I hear back from the developers.

Maybe it's help u, but I noticed that children can't appear after I saved my brother. In save before complete this quest my wife got pregnant after a few days together at the castle

Interesting. If I do a new playthrough and TW hasn't fixed this yet I will try skipping the sibling quest entirely. Screw them anyway. I would rather have my kids playable than have their help.
