Can't get promoted?

I joined the British pretty much straight away.

I'm currently on 79 renown, and I just can't get promoted! I'm sitting sad on Private; every time I ask for promotion, they say I haven't done enough!

I thought the first promotion was 50 renown? I've even participated in a siege for god's sake Been harrowing the enemy with Sharpe-y for about 3 weeks now

docm will adjust it in Patch 1.3., right now in 1.2. it still is 90 renown for your first promotion.
