Can't get people to join my faction

I finally beat the almost impossible speech checks for someone to leave their leader and join my faction, and the barter screen requires more than a million gold for them to join me. I made my own faction and i need nobles to join me, I don't really understand how to do this if I don't have millions of gold pieces.

Did you ever try to press "offer"?
Works for me and most I've paid is probably 20k the rest seem to accept without any barter.

Maybe it's tied to honor level tho

Yeah that actually worked, I hit offer and gave him all that stuff and he accepted. I thought the bar had to be completely full for it to work.

Before he does, this might present a whole other issue than the OP intended to show. Do the lords simply accept any offer, and why does the indicator not show the likelihood of it being accepted?
