So i've tried to romance with that one vlandian lord and failed miserably (just like in real life). Now I don't have the romance option when Im talking with every free and young lord. The only thing that's left is the "give me another chance" dialog with the original lord, but that doesn't get me anywhere

I am not 100% sure, but if you fail once at romance and the other person says "it's not gonna work out", you can't continue.
However, if that happens then you need to seek the father or mother and they are always very happy to marry the person you are seeking.

I've had a similar problem, my character is under 25 but I didn't think it was related to a failure on another chick. I thought the courtship had timed out or something.

Yeah I’ve done that too but it does the same thing, can’t access any dialogue with any of the parent either.

Well this isn't a bug. This has been a thing since EA. You just can't do it. Taleworlds is aiming for rejection therapy here I guess?
