Can't Even Start the Game (0.711)

I've installed the game and when I try to start it, I get these two error messages:

The procedure entry point DdEntry10 could not be located in the dynamic link library DDRAW.dll.

and:

Cannot find 'd3d9.dll'. Please, re-install this application

I re-installed the game, but the same problem keeps happening. Does anyone know what to do?

I'm not sure what would cause that ...

Did you do a full uninstall? After uninstalling, make a point to delete the mount&blade folder before re-installing.

d3d9.dll and ddraw.dll are Direct X files. Try this

An update that came out for DX recently. It should replace the .dlls, including any missing ones. if not, find the full version of DX and install it then the update.
