Can't connect to global servers on Mount & Blade Warband: Napoleonic Wars

Try checking your game cache on steam.

1) steam Library
2) right click on warband
3) go to properties
4) Local files tab
5) verify integrity of game cache

Solution, go to %appdata (I believe it's there then go to the mount & blade warband folder). Select the rgl_config and then change use_secure_connection = 0 (change it to 0)

Bump- So i can maybe play the game after 6 months.

When i go to the Mount & Blade Warband folder it only has two files "perf" and "profiles".

Hello, have you tried these instructions?

Start by double checking that your firewall is allowing warband access to the internet etc. If that doesn't work try completely disabling your firewall just to make sure.

If that doesn't work try this: My Documents > Mount&Blade Warband > rgl_config

Open up that file and look for these two lines:

use_secure_connection =
max_number_of_connections =

Try changing the use_secure_connection to 0, if it is already 0 change it to 1.
Also, what does it say your number of max connections is? Try changing the number to 5 or 6 instead.

Already tried and still doesn't work, and please note that my multiplayer on Mount & Blade With Fire and Sword works fine.

Check your firewall, router and as a last resort you can call your ISP.
