can't buy because of USD

so... my suggestion: do something (very original, isn't it? ).

I'm from Poland and I can pay only in PLN. Well, I can open the USD account in any of polish banks (and then pay in USD), however it'll cost me about 110$ (game prize included) and even more since I can't close that kind of account after one month - I have to keep it for 6 months at last (that's how it works in Poland...).

I can add that common Pole (polish citizen) earn about 250$ per month. I earn 205$... (values ...emm... converted(?) to the USD from PLN)

P.s. Game rocks! It's like Daggerfall but without this magic-**** - it's more like life simulation Great!

If you have a credit card I think you should be able to pay even if your account is in PLN. I know that this will definately work with paypal if you have a paypal account.

Go there and sign up, link it to your credit or debit card (or polish bank account, if it supports it). It should work.

thx - i was in hurry, and didn't see the paypal link - however i don't know how it works yet - i'll check that in few days (have to earse some problem with my mainboard first :/)

p.s. any1 knows why m&b makes my graph.card (GF4) so hot? about 65 to 70 degrees in Celsius (centigrade) scale. it's wierd cause no other application can make it so hot, however it works without any troubles, so i suppose it's ok - just mentioned because didn't find any info about that yet.

Try changing

max_framerate = [whatever]

to

max_framerate = 60

in the config file.

I'm not sure that PayPAl would help you. At least it doesn't help me, Russian (I have created PP profile as the citizen of Israel although I have never been there ), and I can not remember any possibility for Polish citizens to link account with Polish credit card or bank account.

yes, PP is good idea, it lets me pay (however not to withdraw any money, but it's OK as i need only to pay for m&b).

yes, i've changed frame rate at very first (to 70, and then to 60), and texture detail also (to 80 and after that to 65)... i did it even befor i made started this topic - i'm not very lame (not VERY...)

edited: nobody knows about that overheating problem? because, as i said, i have set those settings BEFOR opening this thread - i still have got a problem with this it's not big deal, it's only my temp. guard - it's annoying beeping it's broken, and i can't set it for different temperature range heh heh...

I got charged in pounds sterling rather than US$ but i think paypal will convert the money for you.
