i have 1.143 version and the only way to get blots arrow gauntlets some helmets is by loot i already check every city and nothing i have last update of NE the .003
So, I've done a few more "let the game simulate itself" tests...with some disappointing results.
It would appear that the fix for bolts/arrows/gauntlets/boots works for Native (with old save games or new, running Native 1.143, these item types do not disappear). BUT, this is not the case for mods, where the changes in the production system (and the relationship between the .exe and the Module System it would seem on these issues) still result in these particular items disappearing. This means for the equipment to not disappear in non-Native mods, the mods will need to make the appropriate Module System changes and port to 1.143.

Oh, Poop

It feel kinda funky hunting Mercs and Bandits so I can get more and better ammo  for my companions.  Also kinda sucks that i'm still trading with my current toon and so loot from such encounters is... poor.

OK, thanks for the info, Caba `drin.

Josef is going to be so happy

Arsebarns. Right, I'll mail Josef, but he's a busy chap at the moment. Don't hold your breath kids.

I hat to break - break, haha, get it? - it to you, but that wasn't a good reply
I just noticed that they made you the mod of this lot! Are congratulations in order? And the Frenchman is posting again.

Just wait a while, they were probably being transferred in a caravan. Most likely they never got delivered. (For realism's sake... Just wait a week )

Or -oh, it's today's news!- just look at that.

Unfortunately, Josef has been very busy in RL as of late and unable to spend any time working on the mod. Without him there's only me and sadly I happen to possess coding skills equivalent to those of a 13th century farmhand.

Instead of winding up the mod, we have a couple of new hands at the coding pump. Soulmata and Thunderclaw are veteran NE players with what might modestly be described as extreme love for this mod (as anyone who has read their ultimate challenge threads will attest). They will be taking on the source. I will continue to offer technical hindrance as well as model work / textures. Please feel free to offer congratulations, small monetary gifts, condolences, flowers and concubines to the two gentlemen.

First up will be familiarisation with the source (which going by their emails has probably already happened), then bug-fixing on the most obvious problems. I'll let them outline what they intend to sort out, but the merchant inventory bug will probably be the first problem on the list. Start saving up for new boots and crossbow bolts.

Beyond that, we've been discussing new additions to the mod. We have the suggestions thread (yes, Diplomacy, we know) and will be combing that for ideas beyond what we already have planned.

I committed a fix for the missing items (arrows, bolts, boots, etc) bug and I'm testing it right now. Hold on for about 20 minutes.

[ ... ]

And here we are.

I'm 65 days in-game and I'm still finding all 3 of the above mentioned items in the marketplace.  I only tested about 6 cities, and I didn't actually buy anything, I just waited for stocks to refresh a few times.

I declare success. I'll talk to Pellagus about getting a fixed version of NE out and let other people see if it's fixed for them too.

This should NOT break savegames. I do not know how M&B stores saves, so I'm unsure if this will affect existing saves. I believe it will, however, and after merchants refresh next in your game post-patch, I imagine you'll see arrows again. If that's not the case, well, too bad.

Excellent news!

Many thanks for taking the project onwards.

I'm really looking forward to seeing that arrows bolts & boots issue nailed!

I wish you the best of luck with the work!

Balla.
