Can't buy arrows and bolts in the marketplace

Hi guys,

I've searched around a little bit on the NE subforum but couldn't find the reason I can't purchase any arrows or bolts in any of the major cities.  The items simply don't appear for me to buy.  I saw them once at the beginning of the game but after playing ingame for about 30 days I haven't seen anymore.  I tested this by starting another day and waiting 10 ingame days and again after that there were no arrows or bolts for me to buy in the marketplace. 

I'm unsure what other information I need to include for you guys to assist me but if you ask I'm sure I can pull it up for you.

Thanks in advance for the help.  I've only been playing the mod for 2 days and it's great but this little problem is really a turnoff especially when I'm restricted to wooden bolts, lol.

try starting new game, check all cities, eventually this might be caused by corrupted item_kinds1.txt file: non-merchandise bolts and arrows or reeeaally bad luck

Are you using 1.142?  Seems to be a bit bugged; lots of people are reporting missing items at merchants after upgrading.

I've had the same issue since the last Warband update. Until it get's fixed I'm pretty much stuck with whatever I can loot from mercs.

If its the 1.142 patch, you could try downgrading to 1.134 again. If that's possible that is. If its corrupted items kind file, could this be fixed with morgh warband tool, by simply changing it back to merchandise, or can morgh not do that?

morghs tool can not only change items but also troops, factions, and lot more stuff, guess how i checked chests in jelkala and tihr

You can always get the CD Key from Steam, install the game with the proper installer by TW and most importantly in the version you like and tell Valve to bugger off till it's fixed. Just sayin'.

Weird. I've not noticed any missing items in merchants since Warband updated, nothing in the NE item_kinds1 file will have changed so the items should still be there if they're supposed to be there. Perhaps I've not been looking and that's why I haven't noticed.

OP: I would suggest starting a new game to test your problem. If the items are appearing (they are random so don't assume they will just be there when you start, it can take a few in-game weeks for items to populate the merchants), it could be a problem with your saved game.

If they are still not appearing and should be, it means there's a problem with the item_kinds1 file telling NE that the items should not be available as merchandise. I'm sure this isn't the case, but I'll check. Fecking updates.

well update SHOULDNT touch any modules, it might be problem with his item_kinds, small download or unzip bug

Hmm... That's not such a bad idea. Mostly because steam is pretty annoying when you want to learn how to mod :l

I might try this as I never found my game to have any problems before this update.

I've started another game already so that'd be my third game and about 25 ingame days.  I still haven't seen it.  I'll keep checking and see if anything happens in the next couple of ingame weeks.

Additionally, I have been playing around with my warband folders a lot as I rarely play native and mostly the mods.  I might try doing a complete re-install of warband using the TW installer and seeing if that might remedy the problem.

This is a bug of Warband version 1.142, not with this mod (or any mod).
Update to 1.143, it is fixed there. (May take a new save or giving it some time--up to a week.)

Gee, I knew I should have waited before updating to 1.142.
I just knew it, for chrissake.
That's why I couldn't find any more steel bolts anywhere.
Now I have to download another 95MB of 'patching'.

Man, you're going to have to communicate using more words if you want some help. As Caba`drin says:

Merchant stores take a week or so in-game to update their stock, so have a bit of patience.

i have 1.143 version and the only way to get blots arrow gauntlets some helmets is by loot i already check every city and nothing i have last update of NE the .003
