Can't attack noldor

I know this questions gets asked all the time, but I can't find an answer specific to me.
So basically I have about 4 or so relations with Noldor. The thing is, I can't attack them anymore, there's no option to. I would very much like to continue the attacking them and releasing prisoners to keep it at 0, but didnt know this would happen.

I don't think you can attack them further once you get to positive relations. You could try following them until they attack a lord or another friendly sub-faction, that might work.

so basically I need to keep them at -1 relation to be able to keep attacking them?

Yes.

A good way to do this would be to get ~20 relations with them, do the quest to unlock Elacrai from Quigfen, and then spam the pointy ears remark until you're at -99.

Yeah but at -50 is the point of no return for relations iirc.
And that also means getting more relations which is difficult to acheive. I think I will try and aid another side against them. My fellow lord would be negetive I think (not my own vassals)

-50 would be the point of no return in most cases when you can only up your relation by helping someone in battle. However, this is the Noldor. You can get relation back up by releasing prisoners not just by aiding them in battle.

and I've managed to get it back down to -1. I' loving this +1 honour/renown or 600+ denars per prisoner

Yeah the noldor are great. I don't see why people dislike them when they give you so much cash and honour.

If you have castle you can store your Noldor prisoners there, fight them a lot and then release all the stored up prisoners when you want peace with them.
