Resolved Cannot barter for spouse

I am playing a female vassal of the Southern Empire, and have gotten to the point where Honoratus has asked me to finalize the marriage with his clan (Mestricaros)
leader Oros, But even 54,000 denars and another 15,000 worth of items does not increase the acceptance bar at all, and auto barter does nothing. I have 20+ relations with the clan, and 75+ in Charm as well. I am a Tier 3 clan, with 2 castles and 4 villages if that affects it.

Is the accept button greyed out/clickable? There's a bug where some barters won't really need you to give anything.

79k may not be enough just to get peace with a faction I once paid them 538k about 1/2 of my personal treasury at the time.

@Silver Bandit: We are the same faction so that isn't the issue.

@Hayden321: The accept button is unusable in this situation, but I have successfully bartered my way out of a combat before in this file.

Restarting the game seems to have fixed it, as I was able to pay 7.3k and am now married.
