Can you play LAN multiplayer with the demo?

Are you allowed to play LAN multiplayer with the demo\locked version of the game? I'm going to a LAN tomorrow, I have a warband key myself but my friends do not. Can they downlaod the demo version and join a LAN game to see what it is like?

No.  You need a key to play multiplayer (including LAN) with the regular demo version of the game.
