Can you move your troops at once in formation? (Grouping)

In games like total war, you can group everyone in a fixed formation (ctrl + g). In Bannerlords i setup my armies before i fight in this formation:

Sword/ Spear in the Front (Shieldwall). Behind them my archers and on the left and right flank cavalry in the skein formation.

But now i have a problem. When i select everyone and say "move to this position". They destroy my complete formation and stand again in a simple line. But i will keep the formation with meele, archers and left/ right cavalry and move them at once near the enemy
Is there a way to group my formation which i have choose and move them in this formation to the enemy?
I do really wan't to play this game more because of tactics and not for fighting by myself. It have amazing functions, like total war.
You can control everyone from a hill with the mouse, you can manually change the space between units, you have skirmish for archers, so much possibilitys, but nothing to move your preset formation at once? Or do i overlook somthing?

Those kinds of formations aren't available in this current state, you'll have to reform them any time you want to move them. I'm sure a mod will come along to fix that, if it isn't already planned for a future update

You can actually, instead of go to position you use the command Advance, i believe it's F1 -> then F4, that way when they move they retain their formation.

You have to move them 1 at the time, advance will make them move forward but they will just keep walking until htye hit the enemy

Let me get this straight, if i press advance, the Shieldwall will walk in formation until ti Hits the enemy? Tahts Awesome! did know
i always moved all untis with F1 seperalty. if i want my shieldwall to attack, i use F1 and playe the marked behind the enemy.

Coud i just have pressed advance?!?

Yep that's how it's supposed to be however if the enemy is stretched your formation will break cause part of your men will try to fight enemies on the sides.

So they do not advance just 10 Paces like in Warband but avance in formation until they meet the enemy?

yep they advance until they meet enemy or you stop them via stop command.
On the other hand they won't break formation if You order them to stop in formation.

What i ment is that if you order your infantry to form a shield wall and then add archers behind them then select all and tell them to advance they will move in the order but at regular speed and until they get contact with the enemy.

And since your archers and cav is faster then your infantry those two will be way ahead of your advancing infantry.

So best way is to order them 1 by one as usual

The funny thing is that for me archers are starting to go back when i use advance and they are in range

They need to bring back the "Move 10 steps forwards / Backwards" command. A lot of things left out of this game that warband had right

I find current forward command more usefull than 10 paces from warband. Now You can decide exactly where should they stop using stop command instead of ordering them to move 3 times.

Na, all we need is all units to advance in the same Speed if they are selected together.

Doesn't work if you have cavalry, they just advance into the enemy before the infantry & archers. The 10 step command would be easy to add + WHY REMOVE WHAT WORKS.

Cause it's completely new engine and they didn't "removed" anything just the engine works differently and such feature needs to be build from scratch.

There are a lot of things that need improved with the system. I for one hate the system as I can never remember what each menu/sub menu does. I mean hitting F1 immediately selects everyone, but if you select infantry and give them a command, hitting F1 the 2nd time just moves the infantry. Then there is trying to remember what each F-key does in each sub menu. Then there is the fact that unless your out there fighting too, your not going to get any skill ups or levels so you can't just sit back and command your armies. Honestly, the whole system just seems like a big mess to me just like it did in M&B. I mean don't get me wrong, I think it is improved but just because it is improved, doesn't mean it works well.

Being able to set a formation before hand would be nice so you didn't have to fiddle with a the F keys each time you go into combat.

Before Hand? Mh, english is not my mainlanguage, but you maybe mean this: there is a perk, where you can place every unit like in total war before the battle. You need, i think it was tactic on 75. But don't reach the 75 yet.
