Do u remember the perk where they said that you can cut an arrow in mid air? Yeah. A bunch of people just sat in a room and started throwing ideas. The leader was probably like, cool, thats cool, you are a genius, etc. Dont know how to implement it. Put it as a place holding advertisement.
Duh said that that there are two groups like one for the campaign stuff and one for the battle stuff.
The campaign dudes are still trying to get complex traits like "+1 companion" working
They should just speak with the guys from the community patch, they got it working months ago. But what do I know? It won´t effect any other gameplay element like the economy.
Unfortunately the Community Patch mod hasn't been updated since 1.4.3...
I'm not triggered because frankly I couldn't care less about you. The thing I find hilarious is you talk a big game, but when you get called out on your actions you start getting super passive-aggressive.

Personally I haven't use community patch in awhile it gets updated so slowly.

Someone in another post has stated that person who made the community patch will be away I think it was till the end of this month but don't quote me on that.
I'm okay with the arrow blocking perk mechanically, since an arrow can't go though a solid weapon...so whatever. I don't like that a perk is wasted on it though. especially at 150 with no other option. I'd rather have +1 hp.

So, before it was because it is an EA game and how dare anybody critic how an EA game is published, even if it costs 50 bucks, but that's another story....
Now the new trend is "because the ode refractor", what tomorrow? A swarm of locusts? A flood? we actually had people blaming it on the virus...hahhaha
It´s like a cycle, next excuse should be "small indie company" and then we go back to "It´s because of EA" followed by "code refactor"

I´m in no camp, I just try to be objective and say my opinion. The 1.5.0 update was good on paper, but it introduced so many new bugs which shouldn´t have passed their QA, if they have any.
And stuff like villages without a single noble should be hotfixed, not in a week, but a day after the bug was known. I can live with the missing textures though.
I also still believe that TW doesn´t value feedback from us that much. My thread about marriage, 90% of players seems to agree that it shouldn´t be that random. Is there a single word from TW in this thread? And I wasn´t the first one to say that the marriage shouldn´t be that random.
TW seems to have their internal roadmap and they seem to just follow it, no matter what we think. I´m also not a huge fan of adding new perks when only half of them work. I don´t need placeholders to be replaced with new placeholders. I know Duh explained why it is this way but still. Don´t add new perks when they don´t work. Delay them then.
And for god´s sake, talk to the guys from the community patch to get perks like "+1 companion" working like the modders did. Also talk to the guys from the diplomacy mod, so that the steam rolling stops. Sturgia is still dead, it has been like this since release. Khuzait is still the strongest faction, it has been like this since release.
Sure we can try to prevent the steam rolling as a player, but the factions should be balanced. It should be like in game 1 faction X has the upper hand, in game 2 faction Y has the upper hand. But it isn´t. Sturgia is still weak, Khuzait is still OP.
I´ve never had any playthough where it was different when it comes down to Sturgia/Khuzait.
I just want this game to be good, because it could be one of the best games ever if you like the concept, which I do. But we are far away from this. The foundation is there, but that´s all right now.

Imagine if I care about the warning in a video game forum...video game I actually surrendered to, I shelved it until further notice, I was still playing 1.4.1, waiting at least for 1.5, but apparently also that one is a mess, so yeah, I just like to come here to have fun reading the blind fans slowly waking up...really entertaining

I think it's more a case of your constant negativity starting to have effect, it sais nothing about the game quality but about the effectiveness of your entitled whining and criticizing.
If you don't have anything constructive to say, maybe stop derailing threads with your whining about taleworlds etc...
As for the perk system, the idea is nice, some perks sound really good and are a nice goal to work towards to, although some are also a bit difficult to achieve, especially if you have certain play styles. Leadership for instance is extremely hard to level if you aren't the type to go noble warlord who immediately joins a faction and can march around with his own parties in his army to level leadership. Hence why resting in towns should improve moral so that people have an alternative way to level leadership for instance.
