Can we get a "Tactic pause" button?

Really, with how clunky the UI to give order to your army is (Even after mechanizing my brain), and how close the enemy armies usually spawns, you don't have time to create a proper strategy. Sometimes the battle starts, and arrows are already flying, or in just 15 seconds the enemy is just a few meters away from you. Almost every battle, you must go back to try to organize your army, so... why not implement a "tactic pause" button? In case you don't know what I mean, something like Dragon Age, where you could pause the game to give orders.

I like this idea though i feel tactics in the game is incredible unbalanced in favour of the player. I have fought looters, bandits, small factions, large factions and honestly they all fight the same. Cavalry usually charge before they get infantry support almost committing suicide as it might only be a few horses against your entire force. Archers behave like archers who keep at a safe distance which is good and their infantry charge you every-time from the front even if they are vastly outnumbered. I find in all my battles they are over in 1 minute max

Yep, the whole feel of the battles is rushed, same thing with sieges. Everyone ignites at the beginning of siege full speed.

In late game the infantry charging is especially annoying, because almost every general has in their army around 80% of walking HP tanks with shields. Is like seeing a horde of mutant zombies.

My suggestion for solution is that we must see the area from above without starting the battle and like in tabs(totally accurate battle simulater) and we could put our troops where ever we want to in the half of the map we own..it would be great :wink:

Yeah it would be great TW pleeease**

Yes, the AI needs to be improved during the battles and I don't know why, i though the tactical pause was implemented in Bannerlord... I hope the Devs take a look at this

It sounds great....Yet i doubt their game engine is capable of adding such a mechanism to the game .......But if it was really capable of it then it would be great to have that as a feature...(y)

There is a perk that allows you to deploy your troops before battle guys
That shouldn't be a perk, is ridiculous. "Look, that army is approaching us, so sad that we don't know how to organize our troops before battle. Well, I suppose we will just wait until their at 200 meters from us".

Is as stupid as those games where you have to learn a skill to grab things.

Agreed. I don't need to be super battle-hardened commander to figure out that I need to prepare my troops positions before the fighting begins.

Yeah getting better by upgrading a skill is fine. But i don't see any reason to prevent the player from a core mechanic just to add in the skill tree.

Tbh most of the perks feel very underwhelming, to the point that you're not even sure if you want to grind for that. But mods can tweak/rework that in the future probably.
