And you can't buy them back after you give them the land, you can only recycle the land by votingInteresting. I did not realize minor factions could get fiefs!
So all we can do now is wait for TW to fix this bug? There's a bug in the game, when you succesfully convince any mercenary leader to join your kingdom, they join not like mercs, but like any other lord, e.g. they become a part of the kingdom. I did this a few times, the King started giving them fiefs, but they began deflecting very often - today they are part of the Empire and tommorow they're siding with Khuzaits (and so their granted fiefs).
Maybe this case is something similar.

You may try and propose to expel the clan from the Kingdom (you can do this through "Kingodm->Clans->Choose a clan you'd like to expell->Propose). But for me, in many cases, these clans have almost always 100% support of the nobility, so nobody wants to expel them. But if you do succeed, chances are, they'll become a regular mercenary band again. So all we can do now is wait for TW to fix this bug?

It may be, that in the future, when the rebellions mechanic will be implemented, they'll be able to try and create their own Kingdoms. But, personally, I'd love to see some lairs of those mercs. Especially Wolfskins. You can give them land and influence, but they'll leave eventually taking the land with them. I don't think it was intended to be able to give them land, could be wrong.
That would be pretty sweet, would love to see minor factions rise up to become major powers! It may be, that in the future, when the rebellions mechanic will be implemented, they'll be able to try and create their own Kingdoms.
