Campaign balancing - Passive XP for AI

Training Grounds in cities aren't working the same way... are they? I did a test yesterday and only one troop gets xp at a time.

These xp bonuses are given per troop. It was per stack previously and changed to per troop. Of course per troop makes more sense but values did not reduced while changing to per troop. We are fixing it (reducing daily per troop effects to 3-5 instead of 15-30)

So I guess 3-5xp per day was too generous, so instead you went with 2xp per day? 1xp for higher tiers? What's even the point of these perks at all? They feel like an insult.

I truly can't even begin to understand what you guys are thinking when you balance the game like this. All of the rewards in the game are terrible. Loot is garbage. Shop inventories are junk. Tournament bets and rewards are a joke. Skill progression is a chore. Companion development is non-existant. Its like everything that I loved about the game, you guys are purposely making them feel awful. I just don't get it. I wish I could tell what your grand vision of the game is supposed to be, because I just don't see it. In your efforts to create some sort of multi-generational economic simulator you're missing all the things that made your old games so fun and engaging.

300xp/2xp = two years to upgrade one recruit, lol, what a joke

Taleworlds still thinks they are making a grindfest mmo

Did no one see the part where mexxico said other passive training perks were coming as well as potentially xp gain tied to leadership skill?

This is related to extreme perk bonuses. There are 4 perks giving xp.

1-Combat Tips : +15 xp per troop / day
2-Raise The Meek : +30 xp per troop / day for troops < tier 4
3-Walk It Off : +15 xp per troop / / day while traveling on map
4-A Good Day's Rest : +30 xp per troop / day while waiting at settlement

I forgot to focus on immediately being able to have raise the meek when I built my character upon the game start, is there a way to quickly level leadership a few points or should I restart? How much morale do I need to maintain and for how long to level up leadership, and on top of that, has morale been nerfed again? I seem to consistently have lower morale than before the latest patch

Don't bother, Rise the Meek now give you 2 exp per day multiplied by unit stack counter. You need 140 recruits in stack to level 1 of them per day.

Like every other balance change: nerf now, buff to come at some unspecified time in the future. I'll believe it when I see it. And based on how low they set the current perks, I don't expect any future training perks to be any less stingy.

Ah, yes, forgot to mention, there is no way of leveling leadership at decent rate outside of being a vassal / king and leading armies. Recruiting give you little bit of leadership exp, by hiring and firing a lot of recruits you maybe you will be able to grind your way through early levels.

I went ahead and downloaded the character export/import mod and just edited my guy to give him the 25 leadership points needed to get raise the meek (and 177k since workshops are nerfed making my slow playstyle unplayable)

I think the cut off for morale giving Leadership XP is 70 morale. Pushing morale higher can give a decent amount for getting you through low levels of Leadership (ie. getting to 25).

But there is an order of magnitude difference in the Leadership XP you gain by leading armies. Even that rate is not OP fast, but every other method is hideously slow in comparison. It makes me a bit sad that you can't form an army of your own clan parties when you aren't a king/vassal (mostly for the purposes of settlement conquest without being a vassal, but also for access to the only current worthwhile source of Leadership XP)

This needs to be looked at, it would make leveling leadership much easier as well as taking your first castle.
