Camels in 1.5.1 ?

At first must say that this patch feels pretty balanced so far in the recruiting area... So good work on that!
However i cant find a single camel in this one at the market and been looking like crazy on the tournaments as well as by the traders on the road, but non. Can see em riding around with em but not even an pack camel in sight. Are there coming like an "Camel dlc update" or something ? Guess that you could be re working em but would be nice to know if so

i just wish they would add the bactrian camel as well. seeing khuzaite caravans with dromedaries is awful. at least give them horses until there are actual camels.

Yea, I feel like the camels have the ability to be a very cool addition, but they did need some work. In my last game I actually got my first camel that was pretty good from a tournament in Aserai territory. I can't remember the name, but I gave it to my brother since he was the only one who could use it. It was cool to see it every battle. More mount variety is always a plus. I used to love using unique mounts in WB mods, like the wargs in The Last Days. It gave the combat an entirely different feel. I'm not saying it needs to turn into Ark Survival Evolved or anything, but more camels would be a plus, maybe someday... others? Elephants, Bovines (Cattle, Water Buffalo, Yak, Oxen), Reindeer and others have all also been used. Imagine riding into battle on a giant bull! Or shooting arrows from atop a giant elephant!

i don't think that's historically accurate, at least for the medieval period. camels weren't really used in battle. they were more used for mounted infantry and as pack animals.

elephants on the other hand are a cool idea. i'd rather see an iranian inspired faction than three identical imperial ones.

Well there where camels before and been using em in past playthrus. But now they seems to be very rare to get. I know the Nords/Slavs usually had pack camels at the market, which was good it was changed since it was strange that they had a lot there and barely non in the south at the time.
My guess is that they have it on the table and re arranging em properly

It is possible, but this game still carries many anachronism. So from a gameplay point of view, those who like to use camels as a mount lack a bit more protection.

I would also like you to add elephants, I think it is a matter of time before it arrives with a mod. Although I would prefer the developers add it along with a new Indian-like faction
