At this point I don't know if this is a bug or more of an oversight... I would honestly say the latter .
The point,
The sound of a camel's footstep is very different from a horse's; with a quick search on youtube you'll notice the difference. In the game, the camel model uses the same sound effects when stepping as the horse, with footsteps over rocks or pavement especially being out of place.
Here is a short demo:
For your QA attest just go to Custom Battle, take a camel and run it over this kind of surface to notice the un-immersive sound...
Obviously this problem appears in both SP and MP.
