- Calradian Wars -
Story -
120 years have passed since the wars have first started.
The Khergits got annhilated completely by the Rhodoks, who finally managed to get hands on substantial amounts of horses and thus started producing a lot of spear armed horse troopers. The Rhodoks also got their hands on special crossbow technologies.
The Swadians got almost destroyed by an alliance of Vaegirs and Nords, but after they started fielding the Invincibles they started attacking back in a more effective way.
The Nords promptly upgraded all the armour of their troops and the Vaegirs now are much much more numerous.
New stuff -
Rhodoks -
1. Most of the spearmen now have horses.
2. New Unit! The Rhodok Captain. These cavalry units have extremely powerfoul pikes.
3. New Unit! The Rhodok Dragooner. These units have crossbows that shoot explosives!
4. New Unit! The Rhodok Halberder. These units are the most powerfoul anti-cavalry unit available.
5. Before battles you have the option to use the Bombardment Assault. It will automatically kill a percentage of enemy troops based on the quantity of Dragooner in your army before charging. Watch out though, as if your enemy is a Rhodok then you are probably going to get bombarded too.
Swadians -
1. New Unit! The Swadian Invincible. Extremely powerfoul knights armed with extra-long, massively powerfoul polehammers.
2. Most of the Swadians have stronger melee weapons, for the rest they are pretty much untouched.
3. The Swadians troops will deal more and more damage based on the amount of deaths in a battle. For example, if your troops kill 50 enemies, then they will all deal 5 additional damage for the duration of the battle. It will also work when the Swadians are slaughtered, so watch out!
Nords -
1. New Unit! The Nords Fanatic. Has practically no armour, but it's very fast and is an expert with axes.
2. New Unit! The Nords Huskarlmagn. Two words: Living Tank.
3. All of the Nords units have a much heavier armor now.
4. The Nords will also have a super-demoralizing effect on the enemy armies. For each troop killed by a Nords Troop, the enemy will receive a -1 in morale!
Vaegirs -
1. In every battle, the Vaegirs will have an additional 50 Tribesmen + another 50 for each Vaegir Lord on the battlefield. It means that if you have 3 Vaegir Lords on the enemy's side, you will have to battle an additional 200 Vaegir Tribesmen!
2. All the Vaegirs troops will be much easier to level, they will be much weaker though.
General -
1. Arrows are generally a LOT more dangerous now, and the crossbows are lethal. The original medieval crossbows could pierce a fully plate mail armoured knight from side to side.
2. Whereas, tower shields are going to be introduced and shields have been overall improved by quite a lot.
3. The Khergits are no more. I always considered them the weakest faction. I may add a new faction.
4. Each faction has super powers!
5. After big battles you will have the chanche of encountering "Named" weapons. Those weapons have a name and are much more powerfoul than the normal counterpart. For example, "Bloodog the Halberd - Forged by the unique collaboration of the Vaegir expert Axeforgers, Rhodokian artisan Pikemakers and Swadian master Armourers, this Halberd has always been on a stand for exposition until now. Its desire for blood is evident." Bloodog the Halberd gives +2 to strenght and +1 to Power Strike when equipped. Post your own named weapons if you'd like to see them ingame!
6. Kings and some lords have Named weapons.
7. Added more books.
Planned -
1. Enhancing sieges. Sieges are going to be much longer and difficult, both strategically and non, so it won't be just "RAMP HUMP LOLOL".
2. Preparing to sieges. You should be able to put spike traps or some crap like that before sieges.
3. Magic perhaps ?
