Calradia factions to real world kingdoms.

So far I know:
Sarranid = Persia/Arabic
Nords = Obviously Scandinavia such as Denmark, Sweden ,etc
Kerghits = Mongols.

But I haven't the slightest clue what the others represent. Someone help me out here please?

I believe people said the Rhodoks were Italian City States, the Vaegir and Swadian were like western European nations.  Might be wrong, that is just according to memory.

Swadia = Germans

and i've heard people call rhodok northern Italians but i don't agree (i think that was based off their terrain in the original) on another hand i could see them as tirolians and part of that is still in italy

edit: id call the vaegir russians but again that's a guess based mainly off the boyar title

Rhodoks = Not quite sure, most likely Italy militia based army

Swadia =  Western European, so: English/French/Burgundian, etc, etc
Vaegirs: Eastern European: Russian
Sarranid: Arabic/Persian
Khergit: Mongol
Nord: Norse...
Rhodok: Swiss/Italian/Flemish/Hussite (nobody knows, since they seem to take historical weapons and armour from several different cultures).

Just a quick retort a bit off-topic perhaps.
Nord = Norse/Vikings = Sweden, Denmark and Norweigan
Vaegirs = Russian = Russian people or Rus for short = Word for Viking or rather Russia = Land of Vikings since the Swedish Vikings united the Russian warlords and created Russia (sort of) (Rus is an old Swedish word)
Swadians = English/French/Burgundian etc etc. Many believe that the Vikings were defeated by the comeing of Knights to the diffrent lands but infact this is untrue. The King of England at around the time of the game or perhaps his father/grandfather (unsure of what time it was exactly) was infact a Norweigan Viking. The Swedish vikings in particular was famous for haveing some of the best cavalry in Europe at the time of 1000 and the best of these were taken in as the royal guard of Kings especially by the turkish Emirs/Cavalry based factions. Just a note on the army set ups since the Nords have no cavalry and such. Just because the Nords most well know soldiers were infantry dident mean they had no cavalry.

Well the Viking Age actually ended way before 1257 (year you start in the game), but I think you might be thinking of William the Conqueror. He was a Norman who invaded England around 1066, which ended the Viking Age. Normans were cousins to Vikings who were given control over northern France.

The Nords are around three centuries behind the rest of the factions, that much I know. By the mid 1300s Scandinavia was starting to look more like the rest of Western Europe, that is, Swadia.

Rhodoks .. I don't know. They're just about everything, and, while they strike me as Swiss [mountains, peasants, polearms, republic, etc], Armagan said that they were Italy/Scotland or something.

Swadians are the Holy Roman Empire, France, or any other Western heavy cavalry state.
